Soccer tricks

There are so many kinds of soccer tricks in the world. At this page, I only post three of the many soccer tricks.

1. Marseille Roulette
The Marseille Roulette is a very elegant and effective move if it's performed correctly. A lot of professional soccer players use the Marseille Roulette. Examples are Henry, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Ribery and McGeady.
The Marseille Roulette itself isn't very hard to master. It takes a lot of practice to make it effective, though. If you've mastered the Marseille Roulette, use it to put your opponent on the wrong foot.
The Marseille Roulette is also known as the 360, Marseille Turn, the Rocastle Manoeuvre and the Pirouette.

Step 1
Put your stronger foot on the ground again in a continued motion.
Step 2
Throw your body over the ball, so you can protect it. The ball should now be approaching your weaker foot.
Step 3
While spinning, drag the ball with the sole of your weaker foot back and dribble away.

2. Rabona
The Rabona is an alternative way to kick a ball. You kick the ball with your dominant leg while it's 'wrapped around' the back of your standing leg. Another name for the Rabona is the crossed-kick.

The Italian soccer player Giovanni Roccotelli introduced the Rabona soccer skill in the 1970s. Maradona used the Rabona a lot to pass.

Step 1
Put your weak foot next to the ball. The ball should be around one foot away from the outside of your weak foot. Your weak foot is now your standing leg.
Step 2
Pull your dominant/kicking leg back.
Step 3
Cross your dominant leg behind your standing leg.
Step 4
While your legs are crossed, kick the ball with your dominant foot.

3. Riquelme Move

Juan Roman Riquelme showed a great soccer trick in a match for Boca Juniors. Since then, the Riquelme Move has been all over the Internet and almost every soccer fanatic has seen it.
The Riquelme Move puts your opponent on the wrong foot because the move is very unpredictable.

Step 1
Approach your opponent slowly.
Step 2
When your within 1 meter of your opponent, slide the ball to the left by putting the sole of your right foot on the ball.
Step 3
Repeat step 2. Your opponent should now face your back. You turned 180 degrees in total.
Step 4
The ball should be behind your left heel. Touch the ball with this heel to get the ball past your opponent.
Step 5
Turn 180 degrees again. Run past your opponent and control the ball, continue to dribble or pass the ball.
Note : For this trick, I assume you're right-footed

That's all for now. Maybe I'll post another soccer tricks at any time^^
